About the Event
Sourdough bread has been made for centuries with just flour, water, salt and time. But what is a starter? How do you manage it? How can I fit it in around a busy life? Why is sourdough better for me? Just some of the questions that will all be answered on this course. I will take you through ingredients, processes and shaping techniques. We will make 4 different breads, crackers, enjoy a delicious lunch and you’ll have all the recipes, a pot of my starter, a dough scraper and a big bag of delicious bread to take home. It is a wonderful way to spend a day and a skill to last a lifetime.
