High Fibre Sourdough
I designed this bread with diversity and fibre in mind. It has many of the same benefits as the good for your gut sourdough but I have increased the fibre and diversity content and ground some of the grain so that it's more appealing to kids. I have also added a bit of honey to appeal to younger palates. It contains wholewheat flour, ground linseed, my botanical blend flour and porridge which is high in fibre and also makes for a softer crumb.
Why fibre? Fibre is what feeds our guts, keeps us regular, helps reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and it is also hugely important for heart health.
This bread may have a long list of ingredients but they are all found in your kitchen and garden and not in a laboratory. This is definitely my new favourite! See full list of ingredients.
